Prof. Mousumi Mutsuddi, Department of Molecular and Human Genetics, Institute of Science, has been elected as a Fellow of the Indian Academy of Neuroscience. She was felicitated at the Academy’s annual meeting hosted by BRIC–Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology, Thiruvananthapuram, on October 29, 2025. In recognition of her outstanding academic and research contributions, Prof. Mutsuddi has been awarded the SERB-POWER Fellowship, appointed as Visiting Faculty for the North Eastern Region by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), and has received international bilateral research support from the Indian National Science Academy. She also serves as an elected member and Asian Representative of the International Drosophila Board of the Genetics Society of America and is currently a member of the National Committee for the Prime Minister’s Research Fellowship (PMRF) 2.0.
